As the time of year when ghosts reunite with their loved ones approaches, Cat must figure out how to put aside her fears for her sister's sake, and her own. Raina Telgemeier has masterfully created a moving and insightful story about the power of family and friendship, and how it gives us the courage to do.   The ghosts I list here may not be what we usually think of when we hear the word “ghosts”. But these are the phantoms that kept me turning pages, the ones I never forgot when I finished the : Judith Claire Mitchell.   I, too, don’t like super servings of hot, steamy sex or blood and guts all over. Especially a good read if you like romance novels, too, on top of supernatural ones. It's almost like a "body snatchers" kind of sci-fi book but with ghost instead of extraterrestrial type beings. Night Shift by Stephen King is a compilation type book of many short "haunting" stories.
